That will probably be Richard, I delivered a South African registered 81 Jota to him in North Cairns last year. Purchased in Adelaide.

Make believe, possibly verging on fantasy as I think the story line features, among other things, a girl putting one over the boys, but using actual racing footage and staged stuff using genuine TT riders but also bikes fitted with stabilizers for the stars who can't even balance a bike!

All the good bits to Port Douglas are full of stop and go roadworks due to landslides landing on the road.

The only enjoyment would be eating a dogs eye with dead horse while qued up ……. does that make you feel homesick?

I enjoyed that F1 film Pitt was in, so who knows. What happened to the TT Hailwood comeback film Eric Bana was making about 5 years ago? Apparently still happening.

There are many other great bike roads there than just the Cook Hwy to Port, on which you have had to be lucky to get a clear run. That monsoon trough several years ago really did some damage everywhere north of Cairns.

As I said earlier, I really liked the Brad Pitt F1 movie. I expected a typically stereotypical Hollywood hero movie, and it was far from that. The approach the story took was to explore the personality types drawn to racing and the psychology lots use to get into opponents' heads. It was pretty funny as well. A big surprise and well worth a watch.
