Jota petrol taps

Hi All. my right hand petrol tap has almost seized and is very stiff to move, is there any way to dismantle them and free them up, being mindful of not wishing to break anything in the process, or will it be easier to just buy and fit a new one? they are the square metal bodied type - i see they are available on UK ebay.

If it's a square tap with metal lever, just unscrew the big nut and be careful of the spring behind which will shoot out.
If it's the rivetted type, drill out the rivets and replace with screws and nuts.
Or buy new ones, readily available through an internet search.
(and they're not Jota taps, nothing go faster about them)

As Paul says, they are very easy to dismantle, clean and, if necessary, make and replace the rubber seal - give it a try, nothing to lose since replica taps are widely available,

In my experience, it's a whole lot easier to re-thread the nut, with the spring behind it, if you remove the steel operating lever before undoing the nut.
Otherwise, it's very tough to not crossthread it.
