Sorry - originally posted this in techivcal by mistake!

Weirdly, my bike which has a a 180 degree triple that runs 4c cams, has two high compression pistons on the outside pots, but standard piston in the middle! Wondering if anyone has a standard bore high comp piston that might need a new home?

Colin.

You would have to wonder why that has come about?......Colin,very odd indeed.

Not as uncommon as one would hope, in the world of "restoring" classic motorcycles, Steve.

Especially if it's a shiny tart up to sell on to a buyer who probably won't ride the poor thing any significant distance.
I was speaking to a bloke, yesterday, who'd restored an SF3. At great expense, according to him. Six years ago, and he seemed quite pleased to say "I've never, once, ridden it." It lies in a container, his son said he'd never seen the bike outside of it. "Probably rarer than a Jota." he proudly said
It takes all sorts!

That bloke probably should be collecting other things, stamps for instance…
