Trouble is ….. both are non original and one is busted. Looking to replace with some quality switches. People are asking a fortune for NOS ND ones. Seems to be a lot of cheap ones on eBay, just wondering if anyone used Domino.Richard - I would find another set of NipponDenso switches, or repair the ones you have. BTW, a "Jota" has the same ND switchgear as any other triple.
Or Mirages, equally sold by Classic Bike Magazine."Thought all triples were jotas"
not quite accurate
all triples "CAN BE" jota's
CLEM

I had the same issue Red. Ended up pulling all the guts out of the RH switchblock and using used genuine ND parts - the repro was crap and just asking for trouble.my mate Paul is using Domino switch gear on his 1200 and I am about to buy two sets to use on a couple of bikes that I need to build for customers
Paul is happy with the ones he is using and they look pretty decent so figured I would give them a go
trouble with the Nippon Denso switch blocks sold on Fleabay as Suzuki units is that they are reproductions and thus can be problematic sometimes, especially the right side unit, have had to strip a couple of brand new Kill switch units and make adjustments to the starter button to get it to work properly
Thanks for that, I will give him a call …….Hello Tribonnie.
Lots of Guzzi owners use Domino switches and they all seem happy with them, at least I have not heard any of them say rude things about them. However, if you want your proper ND's ( and I certainly would) you might want to speak with this fellow. He in the UK and specialises in instruments/clocks and also restores switches. Some examples of his work are on his website. He is about 20 mins from where I live, so I am going to let him do both my clocks in the next week or two and see how they turn out. You will see on his website that he says that he is not doing switches for the time being. However, today I asked him (with you in mind) if he knew when he might start doing switches again, and told me that he is probably going to start switches again some time in February. That is not so far off. Perhaps he can fix yours up for you. He seems like a very nice guy. Worth considering.
