Hi, I bought my first Laverda in 1981 from Alan @ Miura and so far have had 2 x black and gold 500's (one from a vicar), a silver Jota from Windy Corner, a late red Zane 750s, a gorgeous silver RGS, a Zane orange and blue Formula 750 and now a 750 SF2 (to go with the RGS), what does a chap have to do to be upgraded from a Junior? (Is there a middle aged member? asking for a friend ...,)
 
That`s right ........ technical ... music ... cool videos ... how you got on with Alan ... ,jokes ... photos ... more about the vicar ..............

Have an opinion on everything and don`t be afraid to share it ........... anything you`re not sure about just make up ......... ( works for me ) .......

You`ll be there in no time .......... :) ...............

The vicar wasa father Brown from St Saviours in Sunbury on Thames, he had an Alpino and a Norton Commando fastback I think and maybe a BMW (long time ago 1984) he arrived for my father's funeral on the Laverda in a cassock and Dr Martins, a few years later he sold me the Alpino which was my second one, I had known him for a number of years being local, great chap
 
Piss some more people off by:
- trying to define what a real Jota is
- why a 120 is better than a 180
- listing all the improvements to a Laverda that means its not a real Laverda anymore
- Arguing with anything Ron says about his beloved 750
- agreeing with Paul ignition points are better than anything electronic
- tell Red he wouldn't know a Laverda race bike from a Vespa
- why the Canadians should like Trump
- a tubed tire on the front and tubeless on the rear is the way to go
- the forum search function isn't needed

will put in a word for you Kev ;) - where are the rest of the Staines massive - you didnt mention multiple visits to Breganze and Willersey - you need a Laverda sob story possibly a Zane related disaster

Hi Adam, I remember the first Zane up a long way on its front wheel during an emergency stop on the M4, they were never disasters just too fiddly to work on, I used the first to commute into London everyday for a few years and racked up a lot of miles. Tommy has RGS ignition woes, still not sorted, he has been using my 3 1/2 Sport a bit till it's fixed. Steve's doing a lot of track days, will try and get to Willersley, it's been a busy year

There’s the difference in a nutshell Kevin you used yours as a regular - mine just gets ridden in a round with the others and my new triple 😉 I get a bit of time to sort the little things - currently all Laverdas ok and on the road
