Thanks Graham and its good to hear from you!!!Hi Maurice
I fitted these to my ''RGS''. For this set up I used the original seat, rear mudguard & rear seat bracket. I had to make a few brackets to adapt, using the shocker top mount & wee bracket which was bolted through the roll pin attaching the rear foot pegs. There were a couple of plates made & bolted on to extend the seat rails to support the top rear of the rack. If I can find some pics of the rack alone I'll pass on. It was all done without modifying the original frame.
What I did't fit was the RGS/A side panels.

That would be great Dave!!!!Hello Maurice,
pretty easy to fit that Krauser rack to an RGS. I fitted ours to our Sprint JOTA way back when new in November 1984, with the smaller Krauser panniers.
Still going strong after around 80K kms.
Just need around 2 metres of 25x6 (or similar) steel bar and 4 bosses turned up, bit of welding or brazing, some relatively simple bending/curving and you have it. Oh yes, 4 longer grade 8.8 or 12.8 allen head bolts as well.
Uses the top shock mounts and the rear footrest plates mountings.
Only need to remove the 4 allen head bolts to fit/remove.
I'll send you some photos on E or via text, as I've never been able to attach photos here....
