Hi Paul (& all),
Former owner here... it was not an RGA, I'm pretty sure. I think it started life as a silver Executive. One of the previous owners was in a crash which damaged the filler neck, and they moved it to the top of the tank, and did a bit of a hack of it (Gobs of bondo, peeling away from the tank). Evidence supporting my suspicion (about it having been an Executive) was more bondo in the fairing where the door used to be, and the actual silver door in one of the boxes of parts, along with the fairing extensions and bag mounting bits. And the alternate higher triple clamp cover. Although no bags and no executive bars. Engine stamped "RGS", but I vaguely recall that RGAs had the same. (?) The top of the tank was something I always wanted to tidy up but never got around to. Maybe deep down I also like scruffy bikes, even though I start drooling every time I see a pretty clean bike with shiny paint.

I think we might have met in Nakusp once ages ago... or chatted on micapeak a bunch. Anyhow, I'm now a sad former-Laverda owner.

But trying to focus on being happy it will be cleaned up and back on the road, albeit in a different hemisphere. I had no idea what to expect price-wise; the last time I looked the few recent sales I could find were in very different markets, and for bikes in pristine shape. When I offered it on Laverda FB groups a year ago I only got a few nibbles and some low-ball offers. And people wanting parts. I also hope it does not end up broken up for parts; no reason it could not go many more happy miles. Or kilometers.
