Hi all!
I am beeing very busy those days immersing in the Ducati Bevel world… I am surprised of the amount of parts that I could find, shared with Laverdas that are far easier find and cheaper to buy!
Anyway, straight to the point. I need a few more cam end bushes than the ones I found for the spare engine that I am building and for a friend who has also a 500 with cam end bearings and want to change to buses for more silent mechanism. (The noise is quite bad indeed)
I am not a turner, but I think that having a new spare as an example it cannot be very difficult to reproduce them.
Original spare is made of aluminium I believe. Now, I have the option to make it from aluminium or bronze… what material should work better? If I change to bronze, should the clearance bush/cam be the same or different?
