After 35 years of happy riding, I have to sell my beloved 120° Jota...
In perfect condition, runs like a dream, unparalleled driving pleasure.
Approximately 400 120° Jotas were produced. This one is a rare model from a limited series of approximately 150 units equipped with the upgraded oil pump; i.e. the “bulge” engine. The "bulge" appeared on the Jota 120° around engine number 8400, and of course on all subsequent RGS, RGA, Corsa, and SFC models.
The bike was bought in 1989 from the Belgian Laverda importer. It is registered in France and listed in the Laverdamania registry:
https://www.laverdamania.net/registre-1000-120-1982-1989/
• Year: 1982
• Matching frame and engine numbers: 8444
• Mileage: 35,000 miles
• Upgrades:
o Mikuni carburettors
o Moto Witt DMC ignition
o Fournales shock absorbers
• Maintenance and upgrades by Augusto Brettoni
• Tires need replacing
Asking price: £11,000
The bike is located in France, Lyon area
