Laverda 1000 Front hub

Hi.

I want to hear if there could be interest in making new front wheel hubs for Laverda 1000, I can see they are rare and the ones you find are very expensive, so therefore I want to hear if there is interest in getting them made ?

Not that expensive - I bought a CNC billet one from DAM Laverda (not sure who manufactured it) for AUD$400 approx. I thought that was very good value. If you look at some places who sell versions they are asking astronomical prices - totally out of my budget range. I'd prefer a billet hub than a cast Laverda original anyway.

It would all be down to price since I don't think that there's a problem with supply.

Yep - these were available with the Laverda Corse spaceframe kit back in 2007. I bought a front hub from Guiseppe Andrighetto in 2012 for €200

I could ask Guiseppe if he still has them in stock, last time I asked about 2 years ago he had no more, plus he also no longer manufactures: Spaceframe kit, luckily I have extra parts in stock : swingarm- special-enginecover, alternator,

I think there’d be a market for them, was just thinking the other day about getting one, more interesting would be a rear hub and carrier

I remember many years ago seeing a pile of them at the house of the man who was making them for the spaceframes.

I saw replicas there that were milled from solid. There was also the SFC rear hub as a reproduction in the same way.
