For sale: LAVERDA 1000 JOTA .Here is a bit of the work that has been done on the bike, and the parts that has been renewded:
Frame, gastank, seat and side covers painted in original colors. Everything else has been polished or replated. The engine has been totally renovated, so has the carburetors. With NOS parts. Wheel bearings and axles replaced. Instruments totally renovated. New Brembo brake discs and calipers. New chain guard,new original Jota seat, rear light, hand levers, cables and brake cables, indicators, new wiring loom, chain kit, exhaust pipes, silencers and so on. Price 23.300Euro.

Hi Peder, not criticizing your resto at all, but this level is like buying a new car - put 50 miles on it and you lose 20% off its buying price, so you basically have to find someone who wants to put in a glass case.
 
Buy it , then ride it like you stole it, ride the frigging wheels off it.

Yes, but the problem is that as from a certain price, they are not ridden. Which is what the glass tank allegory was about.
There was a time when you'd regularly see 750 SFCs about. The more the prices went up, the less you'd see them.
You don't see many of them now.

I see plenty about, on the street and where they really belong, on the racetrack.

Kinda looks like a Russian Dunapper. My friend Stan (a Pollock) had one just like that. His Wife was beautiful - That has to be one of his Girls friends ;o)
