Hello, I have a Laverda 1200 Jota America which is in need of a battery and was wondering what you guys recommend?

no different to any other 1000 or 1200 180 type Laverda triple and the battery for the 1000/120 type is a bit smaller but still does the job perfectly adequately
That may not have been of much help, if your charging system is stock then fit any make of lead acid battery,
such as Yuasa type 53030

A 18-20Ah AGM type for a airhead or K-series beemer is ideal, just needs a spacer to keep it aligned within the stock battery box. Ample cranking amps and considerably lighter than the stock tractor battery. And not as fussy as LifePo lithiums.
Been using these for over 20 years in various Lavs, very happy. They generally last 5-6 seasons and because they are so common, often quite good deals to be found.
