Laverda 200 main stand spring

And speaking of mainstand springs, does anyone know of a moto that used a double wound spring? I'm sure I saw one on a Japanaese sidestand conversion ... I need as stronger spring for the SFQ. I'd use two springs but don't have any space for two.

You mean a spring inside of another spring? My 2008 BMW R1200RT has a center stand springs like this.
 
I might even be able to add something to the inside of mine to achieve the same result.
I reckon this would be too long (and I'd need to find something in Oz).

I know it's a pain in the arse to use but KTM dirtbikes use a rubber band on a frame hook that stops their side stand from bouncing. I did add a second spring on the other side of my centre stand on my 3c like later triples to stop it bouncing up and down.
 
My removable adjustable feet (custom job to allow me to alter the height depending on suspension lengths and tyre sizes) have obviously hit the ground at times and last week the right one actually came off somewhere and disappeared forever. So I am keen to sort it.
