Laverda 500 Are there diffrent size off valve stem guides

I have bought a set off valve stem seals from Classic dam racing and when i tryed as mount them, they was to big for the guides, so they dont press over the valve stemguides, are there diffrent size off valve stem guides ? have some one experince with this problem. Best regards from Carsten

Yes, Laverda used an odd size guide seal

When I have to do the 500 heads I change out the Guides to new ones that use a standard sized 6mm seal

many thanks for the feed back, so the standard Guides dont use a standard 6 mm seal i have bought from Classic Dam Racing

I have no idea what he sells, don't do any business with him so cannot say if they are correct or not

Valve Guides we machine for the 500's have an OD of 9mm where the seal goes which is more common for a 6mm stem seal
The new seal version is too large for a standard 500 valve guide
