Laverda 500 front wheel bearings

Would anybody have a spec for the above bearings . I see a part number on the parts list of 221045171 with a description of 17x40X12. checking the internet I see the laverda part number translated to 6203/2RS 17x40x12. I also see the following in a post on the laverda forum
"Use NU202EMA type,do not use 6020 there Ok in a wheel bearing application but not really designed for this"
Is NU202EMA the actual bearing spec or is it a type of bearing and I need to supply measurements with it?
I would like to purchase the bearings from a local supplier hopefully (telling him it is for a laverda wont get me far) and have them available for when I have some time to replace them.

Googling NU202EMA, It appears to be an uncaged roller bearing and, therefore, unsuitable as a wheel bearing for a 500 front wheel.
I think a sealed 17 x 40 x 12 caged ball 6203-2RS would be much more suitable, but would defer to 500 experts.
 
If the part list says 17x40x12 I'd go for it. Best in the 2RS (double sided sealed) version. I second Hamishs advise not to use the NU202EMA type bearing - further to his advise it seems that the dimension is different as well (15x35x11).
