Hi there

can you please tell me if there are all mounting brackets on this frame ?? serial number of frame in couple post higher. i don't know where to mount battery plate, eletric regulator, starter rele,  can somebody please send me pictures or pictures of parts,... (because i have battery plate for 750f but i dont think that it is same as 750sf)

Please help

The pictures Laverda Paradies have for their parts catalogue are copies of the original Laverda manual. From memory SF1-3 (which looks like your frame in the pics) frames are as good as identical as far as airbox, battery tray, regulator etc are concerned. The reg sits on a rubber strap attached to the hanging lugs on the main frame just behind your carburettors, it sits behind the HT coil. The top of the airbox screws up to the large flat brackets directly over the rear engine mounts in your last pic. The battery tray screws up to the bottom of the airbox at the front and the rear mudguard at the rear. The SF3 had of course brackets for rear master-cylinder etc. Your swingarm has the bracket for a caliper carrier, but I cannot see any m/c brackets.

Hi there

I think that that i understand now frame on pictures with serial LAV750sf*15580*dgm 11068 0m is laverda sf2 1974 but swingarm is from later model
another frame that i have is 750 sf1 with serial LAV.750F*7662*DGM5934.0M

That is correct, the rubber strap for the regulator must be in good condition and goes on those little brackets, with an earth strap IIRC. The rusty bracket attached to your mudguard should be welded to the frame. The battery tray is attached directly to the mudguard at the holes you point out. As far as I remember the battery tray was the same SF1-3.

As Piet says for bits, plus Wolfgang H?rter in Canada is a good source, don?t be put off by the distance as he has an excellent reputation for price and service. I rarely buy parts so can?t really say, I have used Andy Wagner?s Paradies, he has a huge stock, the only hassle is his weird payment bizzo.
On both my SFs the original fuse box shown in your photos caused me headaches as in old age it just kept getting corrosion causing voltage drop despite my efforts, I replaced it with a spade fuse modern type.

The 2 plated parts are guides for the front brake lines where the hose enters the pipe, by the fork slider.

Hi Tippie
Where did you get the spade fuse box? Did it fit the existing holes on the frame for the old fuse box?
I'm gonna change my fuse box too. A lot of corrosion.

Haakon, a 6 fuse spade fuse box should be available just about anywhere that sells car parts, and should cost nest to nothing. No, it won't be exactly the same size and you may have to make a bracket or drill an extra hole, but you'll never have to worry again about corrosion on the fuse terminals or the ceramic fuse breaking or not being able to get a replacement fuse. And you can use the 2 extra circuits for things like heated clothing (handy for you where you live) or better lighting (handy anywhere). Or a CB radio and 100w audio amplifier :D :D
