Laverda badge.

The ones I tried used double-sided tape, and definitely not the high-end 3m type tape. I get that panel fix used on Cars is super strong, but it's bloody expensive at close enough to $100 a tube in Oz. I lost some bonnet trim off my car, and tried high-strength epoxy; it lasted a year, but it is where you pull the bonnet open. My mechanic did the rego inspection a week ago and glued it back with proper Panel fix, so I hope this time it lasts more than a year. BTW, I pissed off the stick on badges and went back to screw ons after they came loose, real quick.

Just need a couple of dozen screws to try, you eventually find a set that fits perfectly. Called "attention to detail"... or rivet counting!;)

This was a big thing with my master when I was in my apprenticeship, he'd pull out a protractor to check the angle if it didn't look right at first glance! Slotted screws were still in widespread use at the time. I sometimes even had to make custom screws if the stuff out of the drawer wasn't good enough. Fiddly, but it does develope a sense of pride in your work.

Entering religious life demands self-denial and sacrifice.
Flogging yourself with nettles washed away your errors.
Divine light then came to you, and you became Saint Piet of the Holy Church of Laverda.

Philips screws ( for now ) , one at 45 deg , other one at 43 deg 😂

The Laverda apprentice badge screw fitter is still in Breganze debating with himself as to the correct position, vertical or horizontal.

He stares at the bell tower in the square, from his nursing home window whenever horizontal comes to the fore, and changes his mind…… again.

Is it a 3D print? Ciao, Gert
Yep 3D print in aluminum , but not 100 % satisfied , little bit to rough around the letters and the surface under the paint not smooth enough to make a real nice layer of paint. But was a fun experiment maybe another try with another print service some day.
But looks OK on the bike , but close up pictures show the problem , no problem in real live without reading glasses 😂 .
