Hi Volker,
you might know that also Gijs is using a 120 deg triple in his endurance racer and he once said that also in early times the works team were using 120: deg engines…..
Regards
Andre

Hi Volker.Sorry I didn't write it is a replica, there is only 1 original Endurance racer from 1974, and it is with Piero Laverda, he was the one who helped with technical details, and sent many photos of the original. Yes, it runs with a 120g motor, just like Van Dijk.

1. Piero does not own the 1974 endurance racer.
2. When Gijs built his 120 1974 endurance racer, he took a 180 crankcase and crankshaft, and re-phased it to 120 degrees. So, he was not using an RGS engine as a basis.

I was interested enough in the bike to take a trip to Denmark to view the bike in the flesh. I think it is a very nicely put together 'modern' interpretation of the original bike and will make someone a very fine track bike or with a few modifications/additions either a race or a road bike depending on your preference.
The only reason why I haven't taken it any further is because another race bike has unexpectedly been offered to me and I am more inclined to purchase that instead.

when Westerham Brewery (Kent UK) was re-kindled after about 40 years of closure, (they used yeast frozen from the original brewery) the owner (Robert Wix) said to me that under no circumstances will they ever produce "eurofiz" i.e. lager, they do now and its 30% of sales and rising.
