Laverda for sale

The SFC 1000 is the same bike that sold on BaT in 2024, preproduction spec and serial number 0001. AIUI it was sold/exported out of Germany to the USA by @Laverdalothar, who said earlier this year (quoting from another thread) that it was a "special built for a friend of Uwe Witt, long after the prototype and before official production started. A Serial-Number unseen normally on regular Laverda series bikes"

yep - you can see some special parts on that bike:

1.) the Fork top caps are different to the ones of the serial bikes
2.) the black foam part that is screwed onto the passanger seat cover is slightly curved around the seat (straight on the serial bikes)

some minor other things are different. sad to see it is changing hands again, but good to see it has covered some km/miles since i bought it. Scott seems to have done a good job re-activating it. He only sold it as the knee-angle did not fit him (he had some issues with his knee), which on these bikes isn't realy changable (other than the RGS, wich has adjustable footrests, the ones on the 1000 SFC are fixed as we all know).

lovely bike though and cool history with the one-off frame number.
