Laverda head

Thanks for the offer to help with parts Clem, but they're not too hard to find. I got all I need from suppliers in UK and Netherlands (Z-Power, Zed Parts, CMSNL). Paradoxically there's bugger-all available from Japan for Jap bikes.

Engine is all back together now and has good compression, so should run OK when I get the fuel, exhaust, ignition and cooling systems bolted back on.
