Laverda Jota Wire Wheels

My pleasure. I would like to have some too. They look good don't they. Moto Officina gave me a quote of between 2,700 and 3,000 euros including VAT for supplying two brand new bespoke wire wheels. That's a lot of bread.

Yeah way too much. I have a Ducati Sport Classic and I just think spoked wheels look way better on these type of bikes. Even if they’re heavier.
 
Quite a few ways to rig up a wire rear disc for Laverdas. I've built one with a Kawa Z1000 rear hub, one with a Triumph Legend rear hub (was complete, but I disassembled and modified both cush and disc sides) and I have a Kawa KLR650 hub that I was going to use - a chap here in Melbourne on the Forum did complete the job with one very succesfully. Moto Officina on another planet with their prices, regardless of how bling they look - sorry.

Just like rear shock costs they add a 1000% tax for lusting motorcycle riders with deep desires to have this stuff and pay crazy money to do so. Just another symptom of this Motorcycle Disease.
 
The SFC1000 Classic rear wheel is not plug-n-play. The original caliper bracket will not fit, something else needs to be fabricated. The original conversion kits as supplied by Moto Witt included a bespoke bracket with an opposite sided caliper that fitted beneath the swingarm but utilised the original locating point.

FWIW, the front hub from SFC1000 also will not fit a 38mm Ceriani or Marzocchi fork, disc spacing is different.

By the time you've built a wheel and shipped it to the UK just getting money for your parts and time, you'll be on another planet as well.
Yes, however, Moto Officina wheels are very expensive. As for another planet, that's the £ 20 000 and growing worn out Jota with a roofing certificate.
