I have bought a Laverda Mirage 1980 needing some love, my first triple. It is has a Sachse ignition on it, but loose and in boxes.
I have a set of Sachse Laverda instructions but it doesnt really match what is on the bike.
The three 'pillar bolts' in pic 2 are to mount the circuit-board?. Which mounting holes do I use, or doesnt it matter? Onviously the ignition wire will roughly dictate its orientation. The instructions show two mounting bolts, but they arent pillar-bolts, like I inherited
Sachse kits generally have a red LED on it to help static time them, this one doesnt seem to.
My central silver 'S' magnetic disk is different to the one in my Sachse Instructions which seems to moiunt the trigger on the crank nose, and my parts are slightly different. Mine also looks to be damaged and slightly bent
There are three grub-screws, that are PROBABLY to lock the disc to the crank via the three radial threaded holes, once it is in the right place?
I wonder if the kit I have is an earlier version than what is sold now. The bike's been off the road for a couple of years.
I have emailed the always helpful Sachse but see they are on holiday currently.
Just wondered if anyone on here recognises my set-up and whether I should persevere with it, or scrap it and start again (at huge expense)
