We'll, I've finally added my first Laverda to the stable. I am now the proud owner of a 750 SF3. I'll be hoping to pick the brains of some of you over the next several months / years as I restore it to its former glory. Currently need to source a full exhaust (it has an ugly 2-1 tranzac at the moment), need to get the seat redone and need an instrument holder (current home made aluminium) plus a few little bits and pieces that will need to be either re chromed or replaced. Also. Can anyone tell me if there is a workshop manual available for these and where to get it, cheers Paul

Hello and Welcome to the Laverda fraternity.
I am also in Australia . Have all those parts in stock and can get your Exhaust system to your requirements.

Check out Skeeta's on this forum and his fine rebuild on his green SF3. Think he's in West Oz. Pics posted recently. He'd be a good source of info on that particular model's particulars but SF1/2/3 are pretty similar mechanically.

Where did you score your bike?

I've seen the pics of Skeeta's lovely green machine, it's one of the reasons I decided to buy. Such a beautiful bike. I live up in northern NSW, about an hour shy of the Qld border, up in the New England area. I got the bike locally, the bloke had a 2 and a 3. He's sent the 2 off for some work and had started with bits on the 3 but decided to sell. Right place right time really. I believe it's quite an early 3, maybe late '75 from the numbers. It's been parked up since 2002 but still looks like it'll clean up ok. Looking forward to getting to know it.
