That's a BOTT racer that was built by Dutchman Ruud Slot who raced it a few years in early 90ies. He fitted a Metmachex swingarm. The bike looked very similar to the machine built by then teammate Frank Crince le Roy. They both built a trellis frame in Spondon style for the twin too, which looked extremely pretty in orange/blue, but gave many vibration related troubles, so they returned to the good old traditional frame. The team named their home made racers "UDV", which stood for Utile Di Vibrazione. 8)
When Ruud quit racing, Robert Milders bought the bike and took his place in the team, which was always praying for wet races! These pics were taken when Robert owned it. The bike is now im hands of Marc Weijtens who takes it along to the Bikers Classics now and then. Robert is no longer racing Laverdas, but Frank is still racing his good old and very reliable black big bore twin and faster than ever!
