LAVERDA. RGA Clutch lever/Master cylinder

Hello all,
Quite possibly a question that’s been asked many times before, but if anybody has an answer it would be very much appreciated.
My RGA, as many of you would know, has an extremely heavy clutch lever.
At the ripe old age of 73 the arthritis in my fingers makes if difficult and painful to continually grab a hand full of clutch each time to change gear.
Some years ago when I was thinking of selling it a prospective buyer suggested I change the Master Cylinder for a unit from a BMW **** something. I didn’t pay full attention at the time as I wanted to sell. He said it’s a well known conversion to the common problem of a stiff Laverda lever as it has a larger/smaller piston in the cylinder which makes operation much lighter.
So my question is :- Does anybody know which model BMW M/C he may have meant, or can anybody who’s had this problem advise me of a suitable solution.
I’ve gotten quite attached to the bike now and decided to keep it, but it would be nice to be able to ride it too.

Hi Howard,

Various RGS and RGA riders have swapped the original round Brembo master cylinder for modern 13mm rectangular units like this one.
They are much lighter in use, easy to fit and don't look out of place on the bike.

I have them on my RGS, an excellent and worthwhile upgrade.

Brembo PS13 for me too. Doesn’t work with the foam pad over the steering head but I don’t mind that, since it makes riding so much easier for longer. These things are hard enough to wrestle through tight twisty roads without your left shoulder cramping up

Nothing to do with clutches, but interruptions.

Today I had a Teams meeting arranged for 11am. At 11 on the dot I joined the meeting…. a message: Someone from the meeting will open it shortly

After ‘shortly’ didn’t work 20 minutes later, I rang the instigator of the Teams meeting …. “You should have rang me earlier to tell me about the interruption” she said.

Some people have a knack of making you feel guilty for something you didn’t do.
