will somebody lease buy this bike, Kozo wants to sell there must be someone that wants to buy, you will also have the pleasure of knowing that it has an ex Clem starter relay on it, Kozo was insistent on getting an early alloy clad type because the later plastic ones look crap.

Well, I have suggested previously that some of us form a ‘Riders’ Club and buy a few bikes and share the use and costs of owning the bikes. Maybe this could be one.
 
so thats the Manx gone, and I baggsy TT period plus one week either side. 46 weeks going spare.
Time share bike? how about ten people putting in a grand? and then £30/week for maintenance? when using it
maybe say IOM use only, an encourage people to be there outside the peaks, my son and six others have just retruned from a 5 day off road trip and they loved it, three are now booking for TT in addition to the others who had booked anyway. Maybe IOM only would not work.

Channel Islands would be more appropriate. The banks are pretty easy going.

I thought that the rules changed a few years ago and that Channel Island institutions were buying up hotels en masse in the IOM in order to relocate from there, causing a big loss of beds at TT amd MGP time, and then re-laxation of the no caravans rule.

I think it would have to be an iom only rule, and in any case what’s the point of buying a performance bike that you can only ride legally in the UK over 70mph on a track?

A question that never occurred to this twenty-one year old, back in '76!
At that time, the concept that I ever would ride it on a track had, also, never occurred to me.
In retrospect, having ridden mine, on various tracks, over a period of more than forty years:
Brands Hatch, Goodwood, Castle Combe, Mallory Park, Donnington Park and Knockhill.
I've ridden it, too, on more than one occasion, illegally, on the road at more than 70mph.
The above makes it seem wise not to have thought about whether there was a point.
Like it says on the T-shirt "Just do it!"
 
That is probably the most extreme Laverda I've seen. Lot's and lot's of meticulous work. Save the battery and the ignition lock, I like it all.
Great bike.
And it's a 120°.

And if you’re caught at over 100mph you’ll probably get banned.

Hyabusa's and R1's sell quite well as do BMW RRRSSXXVVSSS's three bikes that can and have topped 200MPH

The local Ferrari garage seems quite busy, quite how they handle the owners service request that "the handling and steering is a bit vague above 130MPH" beats me, they dont take them to a circuit for a test drive, thats for sure.

When I was working at Rolls Royce in Chichester a few years ago, I happenned to leave the plant one afternoon behind two "mule test cars" that happened to be going the same way as me, I was on TOG, It was hard work to keep up with these two drivers who clearly knew the route very well, combining B and A roads with dual carriageway near washington (Sussex) they left me at that point, I bottled at about 100MPH I knew the positionng of the speed cameras (so did they), not sure how RR would have dealt with that, the cars were both disguised prototypes in dull colours and wearing red trade plates.

Well you UFB they take them to the IOM to thrash over the mountain....
And the next time you’re over we’ll see who’s the quickest around some of the back roads...
