Why is everyone picking on the man? I think it's a good solution. We don't all have to do things the same way and use the JotaJoe design. Corn's mounting will work perfectly well and won't rotate on the bolt. The brake pedal stop will prevent it rotating under load as he showed in his picture in post #49. The only load in the other direction is gravity, so it won't rotate as long as the bolt is tight. It's a big bolt and can be done up bloody tight, and the serrated face on the footrest boss will help lock it in position (looks like the plate is aluminium so the serrations will make indents). Nobody moans about the footrests having only one bolt when they're fixed to that mounting. The 15mm thick plate should be sturdy enough for a single mounting bolt. It's unlikely to bend unless the bike is hit by a truck while it's on the side stand, in which case a wonky stand would be the least of his worries.
