Laverda triple right cylinder not getting hot

the pumpers as Paul says or diaphramns as you say can be dispensed with, doesnt matter if they are fitted or not, they do not affect the running of the bike, mine have been disconnected for 40 years, I did this by removing the plastic bell crank that bears on a tiny piston, which is activated by the ramp on the carb slide, it wont affect the running of the bike, if fitted and working it gives a dose of raw fuel (not atomised initially) into the intake on a rising throttle to prevent "bogging down" on larger than running speed throttle openings, once removed they dont do that anyway, and doubly so if fitted with aftermarket (read better) ignition systems, that do actually have an advance curve, instead of one giant leap at 1800/2200 rpm. FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW in this case, its not creating your problem no matter if they are working or not.

Reduce to zero the actuator adjustment screw and locknut, ie turn off the pumpers, though leave the innards intact. Clem beat me to it... j
