That's what I can see from my side. I'm always impressed by the distances you have down under. From Perth to Melbourne it's just a little over 3000 km.
How mail is handled with you, does it work by truck or by train?

Actually, it?s as much a mystery to us as monoliths.
There are planes, trains, trucks vans, motorcycles and bicycles that shuffle mail all over Australia. The fat postal controller seems to know what transport to use.

I saw a platypus the other day while kayaking on the Huon River. They're interesting little guys. I guess they occupy a similar ecological niche in Australia as otters do in the northern hemisphere. Has this thread gone far enough off topic now?

That comes later, I'm surprised they let Chris use a balcony considering his propensity for falling to the ground after half a glass of shandy.
