Leaky gas cap fix

When I received my 750SF the gas cap was leaking from the quaint dried out leather gasket. I cut a piece of FelPro gasket material to fit and bored some venting holes in it. I had a spare Aprilia gas cap that uses a rubber donut that fits perfectly and securely into the tank lip opening, and now no more leaking w/ a full tank. The bike also came w/ one of those useless fabbed rubber inserts that dried out, shrunk, and was floating inside the tank.

Good to know.
There was never any leather there, nor any anti splash funnel.
