hi all just got my new battery fitted westco in my Zane anyway seems to be keeping the charge ok the thing is first time out in the dark the lights are crap and on main beam/dipped the horn is almost non existent is this the norm  cheers Chris

No.

Check the connections, check what voltage goes to the battery (should be around 13,5 - 13,7). Might be your rectifier/regulator unit has given up or "just" a cabel broken/melted away etc....

thanks Lothar I didn't think it was right I'm gonna have to check all my wiring luckily tax has run out so that's it for this year got a few other thing s to sort
