Looking for 3-1 Jota exhaust, anyone?

I might be stating the bleedin' obvious here but there is no way on earth the spaceframe 3-1 system will get through an MoT. It's a completely open mega with no baffles or absorption media

Quite right, but I guess you don't need an MOT on a classic plate. Might be a stupid question, but will it even fit a standard Series 2 frame?

I ran a 3:1 for a while. I got fed up with rattling the wndow panes of every house I rode past - and feeling like a twat for doing so. I mean - they really are feckin' loud - to the point of being utterly anti-social.

Funny how you call it anti-social when in reality you are attracting attention to yourself.

I always enjoyed setting of car alarms. I was an expert with both motorcycles and helicopters.

They don't let me out much anymore.

Nah, I wasn't attracting attention - the bike simply came with a 3:1 and I couldn't wait to get rid of the thing. Standard system got fitted asap. And it ran a LOT better to boot - never could dial out a mid range dip.

I had the Factory 3 into one on mine for a while back in the early '80s. It was appallingly loud and I could not get the carburation right for it. I finally put a plate on the back and a Jota resonator-sized outlet on it,
Though still noisy, it was, at least, bearable and went some way to plug the mid-range dip.
I finally had a system scratch-built with 39.5mm downpipes and as big a collector as would fit, vastly improving the power output and making the bike a complete pleasure to ride.
The photograph shows the modified Factory 3 into 1.

Mine works well, with a set of tuned Mickey Roonies 😎
I don’t find it excessive in the Db department……. Ridden around the burbs in Melb for years without drawing the attention of the plod 😊

Loud 206’s and A-Stars are why I wear hearing aids today. That coupled with my own stupidity in not being conscientious in wearing hearing protection.

Huh? Pardon?

!8,000 hours have ensured that I no longer hear much in the upper ranges. That's okay. Women's voices get higher pitched as they grow older.

I need to find the video of the low pass we did at Creston airport. Two Bell 214's side by side at 140 knots! It doesn't get any better!

Mine had a kinda Jota silencer (open) stuck on the back of some large diameter downpipes.
