Looking for a 750

metallic knocking, could be serious, might be the engine crankshaft nut loose, frequently incorrectly tightened due to not having the correct crankshaft locking tool, possibly camshaft halves and their drive key, due to lack of knowledge when re-assembling the halves and the chain wheel but ...........................................?????

A friend is selling his 1971 GT UK registered. Runs ok. ‘Barn find’ needs fettling & checking over etc. Not restored - as used in Italy. £3950 near Cambridge. If interested I can put you in contact.

Well, it might have been a GT
Or a 71 SF
Or a 72 SF
Or a GT.

Asking price is too much but then the UK is very expensive.

Paul

Robin - thanks for posting - Paul thanks for commenting. I'd rather pay a higher price for something that is complete & sound, ideally something I can ride & improve - Steve

The GTL is a lovely bike but did the saddle coverings father mate with a tea bag?
