looking for Marzzocchi M1R fork dust seals

I tried and searched all over i actually need them for Paso but i can not find them anywhere and this is last part missing to complete bike restoration
 
You might find something suitable here, they're expensive but work incredibly well.

Go to BMW and try to buy the seals of a K1100, those forks also are 41,7 mm and the dust seal is the same.
 
Yes, it's confusing, these seal kits in some cases include an oil seal and what they call a dust wipe as well. The kit I fitted to my Cer 38mm forks was too tall if you fitted both below the curclip so the dust wips needed grinding a flange off to fit. They're made out of a steel-based material covered by rubber or plastic. I also added a set of black large standard seal covers or rubber bladders that exposed the hard chrome fork legs replacing the gatters my bike ran for decades. There is none listed for those specific forks but that's also true for the kit I used, I adapted this kit for my bike. You need 2 kits, one for each leg.

SKF do not offer seals for 41,7 mm!
 
Yep, as they're not listed or cross-referenced by bike models it would require actually measuring what the forks need and comparing seal sizes. That's why I added the seal spec size list. There are 41 42 and 43mm seals listed. It might be true, none might fit. Unless it's looked at closely who knows? As I said, their 38mm seal and dust wipe kit doesn't fit unless it's modified. I was prepared to put the hours of work grinding the dust seals hight to fit, plenty wouldn't bother. I was keen to get the best available performance if that's what it took. Any improvement in stickshion in these bushless very sticky forks is a good idea to me.
 
I know the M1R is 41,7, but if you can't get hold of a 41,7 dust seal, a 41 or 42 might do the job as well (if the outer diameter fits the top of the lower leg)... put an oiled piece of cotton under the dust seal to keep the chromed fork leg oiled every time it compresses and expands and maybe it's not Bob who's your uncle but Tom or so... ;)
