What I want to know is who the lousy prick is that stole my neutral light? Shorted out the switch, under the sump ......... green light comes on.  8)
So It's not an electrical problem from switch forward.  yet

HIC! I use that switch as a ground for my starter solenoid.

Maybe you got a burnt bulb.

Bulb comes on - Then adjust the switch - They do wear somewhat so it has a positive ground.

FBlanked off that hole 40 years ago, Chris. Neutral is a breeze to find without it! And the switch can actually interfere with finding neutral. Save weight on wiring and switches  8)
