Some people get turned on by looking at dogs balls sticking out …. Glad it’s sorted though.

a few years ago I bought a Chinese adjustable flasher unit to replace the Lucas original on TOG, the Lucas unit was hugely battery sensitive, bike left for while, lights on etc, and was unreliable in the flashes per minute criteria, very often not flashing at all, the adjustable Chinese one (mind you adjustable with a watchmakers screwdriver!) is great, the desired flashing speed at all times unless battery totaly duff, in which case it wont start anyway.
