M8 bolt pickup rotor 120 Jota

I want to take off the primary cover on my 1982 120 Jota engine. The M8 bolt from the pickup rotor is very tight. Need some tips and tricks please. Thanks!

Spanner on the rotor and ideally a good fitting 'Allen bit' (from your socket set) as opposed to an Allen key. It's normal RH thread direction on the bolt (so anticlockwise to remove)
Apologies if I'm stating the obvious... :)

put a flat ended pin punch in the bottom of the cap screw hexagon socket and give it one good thump with a hammer, but be sure your pin punch seats on the bottom of the pocket and does not disturb the internal hexagon, then as A14RGS says get an allen "bit" from your socket set (using quarter drive stuff) and using a short extension and a tee bar, try to turn it, and at the same time have an assistant tap the top of the cross bar at the same time. A soon as it moves drop some oil on the thread and move it back and forth, each time progressing its removal a tad, so back more than forth.

Thanks for the fast reply. I got it done! I fit a new bolt when i put it together, the head is damaged. Must i use a normal 8.8 grade bolt?
