I learned today that Martin died in July after a short battle with cancer.
Known for his Rustler Racing Triumph Triple Parrallegram racing bike, which a late TTRA friend of mine, Allan Robinson MBE described as the best bike he had ever ridden, he helped out many people with damaged frames, including Chris78Jota.
A further connection to Laverda is his riding 24hour Endurance racing exploits, with Laverda ace PK Davis and Peter Bates. However, I’m not aware of him having raced a Laverda during his career.

Sorry to hear that ...... There was an interview not so long ago in Classic Bike , with him and his wife Sally ........ I believe they were responsible for organizing the Festival of 1000 Bikes ......... He said he would have the likes of Freddie Spencer or Frankie Chili asking him for the correct lines around Mallory ... ! ........
