Does any anybody have set of M1R forks dissasembled or in parts. Mine is missing some spacer bellow the spring and i would need some dimensions so that i can make it.

Im missing aluminum part bellow the spring in adjustable fork leg. And it's not the same as in non adjustable leg.

I have some M1R parts that I don´t need. As it was so long ago that I took it apart I don´t remember which spacer it is. Can You tell if it is on my photo? Or if You want all the parts I can send them to You for the cost of postage.

Everything looks like like andre and crisk already said maybe there is no spacer. Yours are also missing this spacer weird as parts manual shows it.

Laverdasoren thank you for the offer but looks like that i have all the parts

???
just had a look to the parts manual,
the part you are looking for is part 22 and in the parts list there are two of those. So if there really are two they might be identicalIMG_7943.jpegIMG_7942.jpeg

This is actually non laverda content i'm restoring Paso 750 here it shows two different spacers and if i try the one i have it will only fit into one leg. I'm suspicious that there were no spacer. Also from your photo. Bike looks untuched with around 19000km on the clock

I see, there is part 26 and an other one no. 35 which seems to be different.
But anyway, put anything in. I am not convinced of these M1F forks, they do not work well, so it does not metter how the dimension of this parts is. I use a BMW K 1100 fork in my 1000SFC.😄

Does one side do rebound and the other do compression damping?
Seem to recall something like that, would that explain the difference?

These links may be helpful, talking about two different versions and some alternative part suppliers:

yes, one side is rebound, one compression.

I got the internals replaced by HH-Racing years ago by their full adjustable system. Never looked back, as the fork is so much better now... do keep the original parts though as one day, the new owner might want to have them, who knows...
