Hi everybody thanks for your response found after investigation it was what was left of dowty seal under leg bolt.
Did I read someone was remaking the front and rear disc and has anyone fitted a side stand to jota and which kit

If you are after very original looking cast iron disks, Malcolm Cox (Cox Engineering, near Birmingham, UK) may be able to help you.
MetalGear in Australia make very nice stainless steel disks, I have had good experience with them.
EBC make some in the UK, but they don't look original and I consider them seriously ugly.
I bought some very nice disks from Spiegler in Germany a while back - see photos. Haven't tried them yet.

You can also buy direct from the manufacturers, they have modified versions available now.

There are three bracket options available for Laverda triples,
1. Original flat bracket, suitable for late models with the short centre stand tang.
2. Bracket for the Marzocchi suspension bikes.
3. Bracket for the Ceriani suspension bikes.

Alumacraft can supply the bracket only (with spacer and fasteners) or the complete kit with side stand. Bracket assembly £75 plus P&P, Side Stand Kit £185 plus P&P. These new brackets are only available direct from Alumacraft...
