What I do know is that at least 4 of the 6 featured Laverdas are Bello Motorcycle offerings, and all have a reserve price. Bello MC's listed prices across their entire inventory do not reflect any recent sold prices in the USA, of course, a list price and a sold price are two completely different animals. Bello MCs do offer up some very fine motorcycles and scooters.

went to the Bella Moto website. Liked the "if you want the very best and can afford it......." Interesting asking prices.

my own 1982 1200 TS Mirage Series 2 is better and nicer and is even lower mileage than the one they are offering for $15,975 USD, which converts to roughly $21,500 Canadian or roughly $24,300 Australian. Anyone want to buy mine cheaper? I will help re crating and getting the bike to a shipper
 
Yes, prices here are higher due to rarity and deep pockets. I've seen SFCs going for almost $100K. Moto Bogataro also sells Lavs, etc, for premium prices. Personally, I think Laverdas should command premium prices since they're such beautiful machines, and just as nice as Ducatis, etc. Old Kawi H2s are going for crazier prices and I'm curious what insured shipping costs from the UK to US would be as I'm considering buying another 750SF.

Things have changed.
The "market", fuelled by desire, has very little to do with beauty or quality. As long as old Laverda motorcycles are relatively cheap, one can only rejoice because they might get ridden a bit and more importantly ridden by the younger people amongst us.
As for those who have a Laverda and believe in investment: you lost.

As for the rarity, there's a French saying: "all that's rare is expensive. A horse with no teeth is rare".

I was tempted by the 750 GT, but no more pics were available (I asked) and no history, also with the frame/engine number it's more likely to be a '68 then a '69 bike. At $6050 it's a fair price for a US buyer. Thought there might be a chance it slipped under the radar but clearly not. Once you add transport to the UK (I got a few quotes) and tax you're looking at $9000, which is about £7k plus whatever would be needed to get it running and put anything right. Suddenly not such a bargain...

Not if you need to ship to the UK of course.
Very few people are interested in these bikes. Not "sporty", not "sexy", not ORANGE.
You can find nice ones at decent prices.

I still have a matching numbers engine and early frame and metal shrouded forks with tank and side panels for sale.
