Only a few weeks to go to the strangulated MGP and I'm working on a few ideas for how owners attending the races can help celebrate the 50 years since Jeff Wade became the first rider to race a Laverda in the IOM.
Sunday 28 August is likely to be the date for a cavalcade of Laverdas around the TT course (on open roads) and I will be pleased to hear from anyone planning to be on the island whether they would be interested in joining in. I'm also looking at using the Port Soderick Hall as a base on the Sunday for owners, with possibly a B-B-Q etc either at lunch time or the evening. Again let me know if you are interested in joining in.
On the Tuesday of what would have been race week, VMCC IOM are planning an event at Jurby. I intend to have a Laverda stall at the event as part of an Italian Bike presence at the event and would be good to have a few other Laverdas on display. In addition, VMCC will be allocating an Italian Bike area in the parking area. There will also be an opportunity to take to the track if you are that way inclined.
