MGP/Classic TT 2020 Cancelled

Yet another race meeting bites the dust, and probably along with it the planned 40th anniversary celebrations of Laverda/Slaters winning the Manufacturer?s Award in the 1980 IOM TT F2 race. 
Oh well, just have to hope in two years time we get the chance to celebrate 50 years of Laverdas competing in the IOM.

I am seeing it a lot and I really feel that I missed out on the Aus/ROW collection and tour, I left for Italy a week before they collected their bikes from Harwich, very local to me in most respects, It would have been fun to have 20 odd eurofiz lovers at the house, which was suggested very early on, but what does BFN signify?

Hi Clem,
You certainly missed out on so many LOLs It was one of those trips where, as the saying goes, "you had to be there"
There's a story behind BFN too.... As there were ten of us in the group, we agreed beforehand that we would split up into smaller groups and then catch up at lunch stops and at the overnight hotels. Anyway, Day 1 off the ferry from Santander, Maurice, Scrumpy and Tom the Wrecker needed fuel and turned off the main road, got lost, realised that they weren't going to get fuel, so ended up staying overnight in a barn (as you do!). It transpires that the barn was in the middle of BFN (Bum Fuck Nowhere), so amidst endless piss-taking, BFN became one of those never-to-be-forgotten terms and the group was titled Team BFN
You did ask....

Plans were being hatched for a Team BFN tour in New Zealand in 2021. Not sure yet how or whether that will evolve  :
