Couldn't stop the tapappet rattle , Richard S said it was to closseted,but in my eyes it was the best looking laverda....

Well, that's what 'The Market' say in their description and the photos confirm, but the V5C (UK registration document) shows matching - 7069 - so someone's missed a trick. I wonder when and why the engine change happened?

Nice looking bike - smiled to see small holes in the sidepanels, presumably to hold 'em on with springs or wire, and an extended shorty mudguard - very sensible! Uneven Jota exhausts thanks to (I'm guessing) the usual Keihan misalignment. Pretty much all original, with the exception of a few fasteners. Hopefully the new valve seats addressed the sinking tendency of the 1980 era all alloy head. Wonder if the short springs & buckets were changed, along with the exhaust valve head diameter being reduced?
