Mikuni flatslides without pump

Funny I was thinking that Piet ;)
Frank, if and when you get them to work, I'd claim yourself to be the pioneer of Jet ski carb conversions and patent it !  :D

Rob,

Took a peep over the pond to the colonial flea-bay, 50 bucks is a bargain for sure, but there's many others not very much more expensive.  Wonder how difficult/costly it will be to convert them properly.

I think you'd answer that question much more easily with a set in one hand and your own set in your other hand. I guess until frank releases the close up detail photos we wont know (or you buy a set) ? At that price its worth a gamble, I wonder what other carbs they used before flatslides, Keihin CR's ?

HI guys,
They are from a snowmobile not a Jet-ski.
Before the flat slides they used round slide VM.
They are 33mm which is very common but I could have bought 36, 38 and 40 for not much more.
My intakes being 32mm I see little point in going much bigger.
I will of course do a thread about fitting them with pictures when I get them.
