Anybody got information / photos of their push / pull cable / right hand handlebar switch gear set up?
Reading through the forum threads it seems that switch gear and throttle assembly from an old GT750 waterbottle is the way to go - just wanted to see some photos.
 
I bought what I thought was a genuine one - looks identical but the innards were crap and I replaced all the internal switches with old genuine ND bits I had. GS Suzukis also used them. I'm tossing up whether to use the push cable with my FCRs. A failsafe if the return spring ever breaks I guess is their main purpose. No way they'll ever stick on full throttle otherwise.

Do you have a photo of the switch internals and set-up on the bike?
 
Internally the switches will look identical to a Laverda ND switch. The throttle barrel looks the same but has the push cable running up in rear side of the cable run. I'll see if I can find a pic of mine ...

I think the throttle travel was very long with the Dell carbs, so when I put Mikuni RS on I wanted a quick action and put on this Spanish made Amal "very quick action" which works verywell. A little heavy, but with a Venhill cable it is ok even without push cable. As pic shows the starter button and ignition cut off are "homemade" but works ok too.

I'm pretty sure a std size ND barrel will have a much shorter travel with Miks or FCR Keihins that it had with Dells. My FCRs with the std Suzuki GS barrel are less than a 1/4 turn from off to full throttle. I fitted the optional softer return spring - I only use two carbs from a bank of four the heavier spring is for.
 
I bought a GT750 Right hand switch/throttle body unit from GTReiner. Same as the GT550 unit shown above. Looks identical to the original Laverda gear and works the cables for the Miks perfectly. All the switches work well.

when I converted to Mikunis I found a used Suzuki GT750 throttle grip assembly in fleabay.

In case you are looking for a new one, GTReiner hasn’t any new ones anymore, but dutch dealer Knalnaarpotz (don't ask me what this means) still offers them – he deals mostly with 2-stroke stuff:
