Minichamps metal display model Laverda Jota for sale

I don't collect them but the detail looks great. I haven't noticed many of the real thing with the orange surround on the inside of the screen. Not surprised really as it is fugly. I bought a damaged fairing which included that part but it was black.

The detail on the models is really impressive.

I also have - but have no plans to sell- the 1/6 scale Brough Superior, which is about 14" long and just amazingly detailed. They are are becoming very hard to find.

That's annoying:) - just a little envious! I looked for a naked version for a long time but couldn't find one.

The missing stickers are clearly mentioned in the ad where it is for sale, hence the low price.

Evidently you followed the link but didn't read the description which specifically says:

The "1000" stickers on the side panels have gone AWOL.

In case anyone notices that it is also listed on eBay at a different price, that's because people who buy on ADV are a bunch of el cheapo motorcyclists like myself who make low offers (sounds familiar??) and eBay where bidding pushes prices up. And of course if it doesn't sell at all, then it's a great excuse just to keep it so it can gather dust along with the rest of them.

Trying to thin the herd down to my favourite models - the large scale Brough and Honda 750, all time fav mid scale Franklin 1/8 '67 Bonneville, MV 750 & MG Lemans in 1/12.

You did not indeed. Apologies if my post offended.
not at all, Alex. I just wanted to make a joke as mostly everything here advertised is eagle-eyed and examined to the last bolt. That's why I wrote it, no offending intended from my side either. It is a very, very nice model and if I had space (and shiping costs would not make it really expensive, as I live in Germany), I would grap it right out of your hands! Good luck, it for sure will find a good home!

I think there is a perfect example for same in Germany now, listed on eBay. Or there was yesterday.

I was a little surprised too and we have a high percentage of "anoraks".

Nowhere near as bad as I witnessed a few years ago: two elderly gents arguing quite vociferously - almost to the point of fisticuffs - other whether or not a decal should have been placed slightly higher up on the side of the battery of a restored 1950-something Jaguar!
