Just to say a vote of thanks to all of you who have helped along the way in the last two years...Keith Nairns engine runs very well, it's got a Witt DMC32 , RS36 carbs and a Shindegen RR giving 14.5 volts at 3k rpm...apart from the engine build, chroming and powder coating I've done the rest 😀👍 just needs a good check over and some dry weather 🌡️ 🌅

Nice job, congratulations. Beautiful looking 1200, IMHO, all it needs is an update to Bremebo 4 pots, but each to their own.
Thanks 👍 👍 I'm looking forward to riding something different to my Japanese classics...they look and work great don't they those four pots ... 🤔...Keith has advised me to get the brake lines shortened, I'll be doing that to save myself from a mishap

Congrats - job well done. The motor just purrs. Will be a treat to ride. Yeah, the sound of the wind howling over the Scottish glens makes me feel cold as i sit here!!

Lovely job you’ve done👏😊. I see by the video that it’s another fine day in Scotland 😂
Tom
Thanks 👍 fine days do happen more often in summer and it's always five degrees C colder here than the south east London area... the bonus is very few people and policing is with a light hand, that and the Scottish people give a sense of freedom 😊

Brrrrr, you blokes are all tough nuts, I’m a fair weather person myself. Anything below 20c and I’m looking for an extra layer or a fire.
If it's dry and above seven centigrade I'm happy to ride my bike, wintertime it's a bike with no polished alloy or chrome...here my winter bike, v twin, light and 57 bhp from a 650... It will be 12 degrees on Tuesday and I'll be out on it...picture was taken at historic Kenmore near Aberfeldy1000010458.jpg
