ABBA stands locate in the swing arm pivot recess and have fittings specific to whichever particular model .......... a non starter for a Monty I would have thought ........
And ABBA`s are a right pain to try to fit single-handed ......... You get one side in the recess , go around to the other side to fit that and the side you`ve just fitted pops out ......... go around to put that back in , try to slide the two halves together and the opposite side pops out again .........
They`re ok once they`re up though , despite having the whole weight of the bike supported by an interface of about an inch or less on either side ........
I have a " Strong Arm " lift from Machine Mart ........... Although a cheaper option would be to whip the exhaust off and stick it up on a wooden box .............
Or get a large pair of folding stepladders , place them over either the front or rear of the bike , and then attach straps to it to lift either wheel clear of the ground .........
