Monocoque would refer to the frame ? which in case of the Motoplast is a trellis one. I understand, that Volki
applied this for the tank-seat combination ? which could be mistaken with ?monocoque-like?.

poor old Volki, give him a break, English is not his first language, he is very fluent in English, but the hardest things to translate (well for me anyway) are the technical names, such as crankshaft, gearbox or monocoque, but not only is he good with English and his natural tongue being German, he can sit up all night drinking and talk complete bollox, most enjoyable

Volki's English is better than my German!

Hello Volki,

Are you planning to keep or trade it?
Thanks
Giovanni

Very tidy looking package, Giovanni. I'm very impressed with the major reduction in free length between the front axle and the lower triple clamp. The steering tube must be twice the length of a std Ceriani/Marzo! Maybe Ducati copied this design for their Monsters?!

Anyone have moulds for that seat section?

The frame is much, much lighter than the original one. The goal of this concept was to raise the engine higher and allow for any service without removing the engine, including taking the head off. All that is easily possible. Not sure how it behaves on the road, mine is still "under construction", but one thing I know: for my bike i will defenitely target a weight below 200kgs, road ready. Not sure I'll achive it, but I'll try.

That front guard is very close to the exhaust, surely it would miss contact?
I thought that but if you look at pic of one strapped down in van the forks fully ( nearly) compressed the wheel actually goes between the splayed down pipe. It?s never likely to bottom out on full lock so appears to get away with it , close run thing.

Here is another one, the price is incorrect.

That is a calling price.
